i was trying to change the low beem headlight on a c350 and i could not get the new bulb ... or the old bulb to seat
does any one know whats going on?

 

carefully look at the other side bulb and see how its installed. is it a xenon bulb?

 

no it is not xenon, but very well could be a boggus bulb. except i couldn't get the dead bulb back in and it's original. (same problem) the bulbs are so similar and im afraid to remove the other one for fear i won't be able to get it back in!
i'll go to the dealer.. i just thought i could do this for goodness sake..
i stick in to the socket and start to turn it untill it seats or whatever and it won't. whatupwidat?

 

There was a small socket that was sideways,
so i needed to put the bulb in at a 45 degree
angle and then tighten it up.
It took the guy at the dealer all of 2 seconds.
