I bought it without the Sirus option, does dealer install the factory Sirus sat deck to replace the current one? Or you can only get it by
ordering the car that comes with the option originally from Germany?

What are the options to listen it in your car if it does not come with that equipment? Not looking for anything special...

 

I had the MB factory Sirius system installed by the dealer after I had already purchased my C230. The Sirius system is a stand alone unit that will get mounted inside the trunk on the left side behind the carpeting, and its wired directly to your existing head unit in the dash. Once the unit is attached and identified, you will loose the weather band option and instead will see a SAT option on the head unit. The unit work quite well.

 

I have called House of Imports in Buena Park and the service said that '06 model does not come with pre-wired for sat like the '05 and previous years,
therefore the only option is go with aftermarket. Is yours '06? Thanks.

 

There really is no need to go aftermarket... In a non pre-wired car, one will need an additional wiring loom in order to install Sirius. If you want to know more about it, just send me a PM.

I would also like to know what parts I need to ad sirius to my 06 c230.
Does anyone have part numbers if they have had it installed? My dealer
tells me it can't be done, but it sounds like they don't want to spend the time to
look into this for me.
