I'm new to MB so not sure how to check if my 03 c240 is accelerating properly.reaskn why im asking this is because when i first purchased my Mb it had a problem where it wouldn't move every now and then when ever i came to a complete stop. It came out to be the throttle body, being extremely dirty and was being driven for a while without any maintenance being done to it.so i clean the body throttle and did an engine oil change and changed the filter. As well as the intake filters. So im not sure if when i step on the gas the acceleration is right or to slow but it feels like it should pick up faster.any way i can check that or anything i should change to improve the acceleration. Thank you

I did manage to check my codes on a ODB2 to my surprise i have 7 codes. here they are can someone please explain what pending means

1.PO400 stored
Exhaust gas recirculation flow

3.PO171 pending
System too lean (bank1)(bank2)
4.PO123 pending
Throttle/pedal position sensor A circuit high input
5.PO140 pending
02 Circuit No Activity Detected (bank1 sensor 2)
6.PO160 pending
02 circuit no Activity Detected (bank2 sensor2)
7.PO221 throttle/pedal position switch B circuit rang/Performance
What should i try and fix first and is it worth putting money into my car. Btw I truly like my car thanks for the help

 

The third code in regards your car running too lean will definitely effect the acceleration. I would look into getting that resolved and see how the car performs then.
