1982 240D how do I know if my motor seized
Seized motor? 82 240D won't bump start batteries good starters good how do I know if the motor seized
Well being pulled home at 55 down the freeway I threw it in fourth gear my tires didn't lock up but I slowed the person pulling me down tremendously and took it out of gear to not destroy their vehicle
It was running fine I stopped at a rest area I tried to start it it was having trouble I think because I'm missing a couple teeth on my flywheel but it always does that and then it just went click I tried jumping the battery I tried push starting it I had someone push me with their truck I can't get nothing to happen I have fuel I'm wondering maybe my injection pump? I need to get this old girl running she's my everyday car
I don't really want to pull the radiator to try to turn it over by hand is there any other way to find out if my engine is seized

I dont think a bad injection pump would cause the motor to stop turning over. How do you know the starter is good?
If you have a failed head gasket, the cylinders can fill with coolant and your starter might not be strong enough to turn it (which you don't want to do anyways - water doesn't compress).
