B Class Boot stuck

Thanks Bill
I should have been more specific though, the hose was the easy part, but now the boot is not opening. No response at all when trying to open it. I was wondering if anyone had experience with that part. Whether it is fried electronics, or is there some DIY job I can do on it?
Cheers

open my boot
Opening it, dead easy, repairing it, costly. lower the back seats and climb in . at the base of the door there is a small "hole" that allows access to the catch, with a torch and a long thin screw driver look into the "hole" and you will see a small red catch. With the screw driver slide the catch to one side or the other and bingo. The downside is that the water hose has allowed water access to the electrics which will have become damaged and need replacing. No short cuts, cost £95 ish plus labour. Mercedes are aware of the problem and allowed me 50% discount but I still found it cheaper ( a lot cheaper ) by buying the parts and having it fitted elsewhere. A spot of super glue on the hose at point of contact will help it stay put. Hope all this helps. Mike
