I hope someone can help.

My engine check light has come onso I had the car (C32) diagnosed and the report said the relay was not working and this would cause the pump to stay open beyond its permissable time which can lead to failure of the pump.

How does one know if the pump has failed or if I just need to replace the relay.

There is no smoke or burnt out wires or smell.

Cheers guys you could save me a lot of money.
