Recently purchased a 2004 AMG. However the existing phone kit is for the 6310. Is there any way I can use my 6230 with the built in kit???

it won't fit on the cradle.

 

is there any adaptor available???, can i replace the cradle???

 

if you find an answer would appreciate also to let me know, same problem. there are cradle converters but they dont fit in arm rest. changing the car kit completely involved changing control unit, harness and cradle for a cost of nearly $1500 + LABOUR FOR A FULL DAY. u can change the cradle, put mikbox and voila~

 

It all depends on if the handset holder has a coiled phone cord. If it does, then it does cost a lot to convert it.

If it doesn't have a cord, and you can release the cradle by pushing a small pin, then sliding it up, then all you need to do is buy a new cradle. There is one available for the Nokia 6230.
