Hey!

I am looking at purchasing a SL65 AMG. What is the Cost of Ownership? I am looking at a 2005-2006. One of the cars has 67k miles. What are the typical cost of maintenance and repairs? I have heard of problems with top hydraulics, suspension, and complexity of bi-turbo V12, but do not know cost.

Front brake job with pads and rotors $$$$$$$$, youll be buying tires left and right. Big time fuel cost. call a dealership and price some brakes and tires. Unless you really have money to blow and can handle a ton of horse power, go for it. Ive seen 2 wrecked 65s, S65 totaled and Sl65 rolled over. be careful when driving aggressive. They are super powerful and the back end looses traction almost anytime you press the accelerator.
