Default Rubber floor mats

Now that winter is "over", I want to clean my rubber floor mats but they still look like crap even after they've been scrubbed. How can I get them looking pristine without spraying them with tire-black or armorall? I've tried magic eraser but that didn't work.

im not sure where one could find it for personal use; but try some degreaser. (look into 'distinctive details'. i think that's the brand but i'm not sure) at any rate, i detail at a used car dealership and that degreaser works real well. plus it leaves the dash and door panels etc (including floor mats) clean and with a nice shine.

@ Arn560

Bet, that FloorMat Cleaner/Protector Kit by WeatherTech will do the job. It was specifically manufactured to make scuff marks and stains disappear and will add a durable coating to your mats, providing them with the required protection.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my experience with the Evo mats I recently bought for my Mercedes C-Class. I used to have regular rubber mats, but they never really impressed me — they always looked dirty even after cleaning, and in winter, they’d constantly leak water everywhere.

With the Evo mats, it’s a whole different story:
  • Protection: The raised edges are seriously high, so all the dirt, water, and snow stay on the mat and don’t get onto the carpet. In winter, it’s a lifesaver.
  • Cleaning: Washing them is a breeze. Just take them out, rinse them with water, and they look brand new again. No need for fancy cleaners or extra effort.
  • Appearance: They look stylish, not like cheap rubber. They fit the interior nicely and give it a modern touch.
  • Fit: The mats fit perfectly and don’t slide around. Everything stays in place, even with wet feet.
I’ve only been using them for a couple of months, but so far, I’m really happy with them. If anyone’s on the fence about getting them — I’d say go for it. The only downside is the price, which is a bit steep, but it’s worth it in my opinion.
