Hi Folks, Am new to this form so please be patient if I get things wrong.

I already have wis installed on XP PRO and have for a number of years with no problems.
I have now tried to install EPC with plenty problems. First time I got as far as the very final install page with the bluecounter bar and froze with only one block to go when it said writing to registry. I tried three different systems which I have with the same problem.
On the first system which I tried, I uninstalled all of the EPC which had been installed and cleaned the registry. Now when I try to install I only get as far as where you write in the licence key. When I press next it waits and then you get error message NO LICENCE KEY INSTALLED.I have copy/paste the key from the key gen and even typed it in but no luck.
I used the Mac address of the loop back adaptor to generate the licence key.
SomethingI do not understand is, when it comes to the screen SOFTWARE LICENCE KEY the LAN address in the top box is not the LAN address I entered into the key Gen.

Can any one help please.

InWINDOWSto remove filesLic_key.dat, Lic_key.old, Lan_id
After removal at you will changeLAN IDa computer!!
And under newLAN IDit will be already necessary to make a new key!

try generating a key with expiration date.

...or else, uninstall and reinstall the PM.

I have tried all that has been advised, but error message NO LICENCE KEY INSTALLED still comes up. I have even removed Wis and tried to install EPC on its own with no luck[X(]

 

Hi Folks, wow you are making hard work of your epc problem, this is the old style installation you are discussing. You need to be installing epcnet. If you need the epcnet install instructions and keygen visit jcrecordings.com, if you don't see them advertised, drop an email to the webmaster on the site.
NadimKod, get yourself a wis install guide from this site, it contains the keygen you are after.
If you want to install wisnet standalone, they have just brought out a guide showing this with das on the same laptop. it contains the cal 503 fix and the ewanapi f6 link problem between the two problems is also sorted. This is also a new release so if you dont see it, contact the webmaster.

CAn anyone help me on the cal error503..after i update 02/08 version it bcome like tat and i kenot do anythin since i update version 2008...version 2007 works well...is it bcoz of the laptop i m not using ibm T30...please help me asap...

I wil explain my problem a bit more,so it is better to understand,
I have installed mercedes epc net,wis/asra net
Then I open the program for enterring the startKeys
Next I click:server
Than I click:Edit server license
Than it says:Current MAC addres(LAN-ID): Unknown LAN ID
So I cannot order A StartKey because I have no current Lan ID
Hou can I solve this please
