Hello to everyone! I'm a Canadian who visits North Carolina 2 months per year. I have my
wife's working 280 Sl sports car which she has decided to sell after 23 years of loyal service,
and I'm not sure what to do with it. Car is in amazing condition though paint very oxidized and needs repainting. Interior is like new but for sun cracks in some areas of wood veneer.
There are no rust spots or dents/scratches as car garaged all winters. Needs only its air conditioner and speedometer cable fixed. Registers 38,000 kilometers, though probably has more like 30,000 miles on it. Mechanically otherwise sound without problems.
My question/problem is whether I should keep or sell it, and if the latter, what its worth and where is the best place to do so in the USA [ Canadians would not appreciate it at all].
I will appreciate any information concerning Mercedes dealers/clubs/show etc where the car
would sell quickly and what kind of price I should expect to get. Thanks to all, David
