warning lights
thought I would try another title..
symptoms are 1]pulsing brake pedal at stopsigns
2]intermittent ABS light
3]faintly glowing warning lights across the board, intermittent but more prevalent with headlights on
Fixes attempted
1]new battery
2]alternator test shows 14.2 volts charging
3]renewed grouds and connectors in engine compartment
4]inspected wiring harness in race under air cleaner
5]replaced steering angle sensor
6]replaced rear axle speed sensor
7]replaced OVP and ABS relays
8]replaced stop lamp switch
Anyone have any ideas?

Turns out it was the alternator.Tester showed charging 14 volts and no dim headlights etc and led me astray.Detailed post about alternator talked about alt producing AC voltage as they age.Tested for AC and got 30 volts!! at idle.
Auto electric shop replaced the stator[diodes were fine] and now 14 volts DC and 0 volts AC and no more symptoms.
Moral is charging test is not an alternator test if you don't look for AC voltage.Alt was charging good with no headlight dim etc but the faulty voltage caused gremlins in the electronics.
Hope this helps someone else
