2001 s500 always getting the "stop car too low" warning. Can driving it when it's too low damage the ride height sensors on the front? Never had any problems with the back being too low. Don't think I have any air leaks. I went through and checked with soap water. Compressor comes on as it should but car doesn't rise enough. I jacked it up and started the car. Compressor ran fine. Then I put the car back down and ride height is perfect. Could the ride height sensor be damaged?

Ride height sensor
Had it scanned. Front left ride height sensor at fault. Replaced it. Front of car still won't come all the way up and now it says "airmatic, visit workshop". What now?
Is it possible that I need to reset the computer before it will work again?
