Just purchased a new lower tailgate moulding / handle for my 300 TE at great expense as the old one was falling off.
Fitted a complete set of new clips to the tailgate but the new strip won't simply push on.
Tried sliding it sideways, broke one finger off the new trim !
Tried pushing it on from the bottom to aid it clipping into the top, managed to break a second bit of plastic finger.
I have now superglued two plastic bits back into place and have run out of ideas.
Anyone know the trick ?
