trouble shooting

Default trouble shooting
I have a 2000 cl500 and i cant get it to start i changed the battary and still nothing, im trying to avoid taking it to the dealer any advice will help

when i put the key in the ignition and turn the key all the power comes on but the car will not start

try a differnt key. and try putting the car threw the gears and back into park and try again. did you replace the battery with the key in the ignition? ive heard of keys going bad that way.

when i turn the key nothing happpens it dosent make a noise or anything i changed the battary last night but stilll nothing

i just tried puting it in D and in R but still nothing i used the same key because my wife lost the other key a few months ago
