Can anyone recommend a source for MB touch up paint. I am looking for something for my 78 300CD and 84 300TD. Also, how do I locate the paint color number. I assume it is on the stamped plate under the hood, but I don't know which one is the paint color.

On alot of the older model cars the metal ID plate on top of the radiator has a bunch of numbers on it. Down towards the bottom of the plate there will be 3 numbers followed by a G or H. Those three numbers should be your paint code.
If the car is the original color and not painted another color.
To be sure you can give me your VIN number and I can look it up at work.
