RE: TEMPERATURE GUAGE READING HELP???

check the temperature sensor switch that switches on the auxilliary fans through a relay.
The sensor is a on-off switch that switches on the relay to the fan at a specified coolant temp. The switch could be faulty.
You could get a replacement sensor switch with different temperature specifications e.g. 72° or 85°C.
I use one rated 72°C in my 1979 MB200 gas engine.
