Have 2000 c230k. Suddenly started to have sour smell out of AC. Been killer hot here last 2 months. Smell gets better as it runs, but does not entirely go away. Any ideas? Thanks.

Check that condenstae drain is clear.

or maybe you need to replace the filter? there are great spare parts out there.

Joe,
Hopefully its not your evaporator. The oil used in 134a systems can be somewhat pungent. If you can access the evaporator drain, check for oily residue.
