I'm brand new to the forum, hello. I just purchased a 2003 S55 AMG. I wanted to add a little HP for an affordable price. I just purchased two K&N air filters, obviously because the car has two air filters instead of one. Any other mods for a small price that you would recommend that will bump up the HP a bit? I saw Kleeman has a staged kit as does Rentech etc, upgrading the ECU and pulleys, but asking about 5K, which is a bit too much. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch...

 

lol...you shudda just got the s65 if you wanted more power. There's a lot of companies that offer "tuning," which essentially and significantly bumps up the bhp. BRABUS, Carlsson, KLEMANN, RennTECH, Lorinser, MKB, etc...shop around...make a friend and that 5k price tag could drop a few dollars.
