Default Radio installation kits

Does anybody know of ar have a link to a site that sells aftermarket radio install kits. I am trying to replace the factory radio and am having a difficult time locating a kit for the 2000 clk320. Is it even worth the time to replace the factory radio, or is it too much trouble? Thanks.

Default RE: Radio installation kits

I think its a lot of trouble.
In fact, to install an aftremarket radio, you will need some type of power adapter, or you will be splicing wires. And that gets risky because the alarm monitors wire loads, and if you pull power from the wrong wire, your FI will malfunction. If you can find a good ready-made power adapter, that allows you to simply plug in the new radio, that would be ok, but otherwise you would better off calling for a used radio from a salvage car that snaps in. I would recommend a used MB radio that snaps in.
