i have a 95 S280/320 with an air con problem. The evaporator is no more. The quote in the uk is between £1500 and £2000 to resolve, know its a big job.One forum suggested i try german star as they did a video but alas they no longer do. Willing to do the job myself but require instructions. Can anyone help via the video or another way.

did you find any suggestions on this? My 95 S320 has same issue -- all freon leaked out. The part looks like it's only about $300 USD. The expense is getting to it and then putting the dash back together. Sounds like more than a typical do it yourself job or what are you hearing?
