Are rusty wheel nuts covered by warranty?

Are rusty wheel nuts covered by warranty?

Hi guys,
The wheel nuts on my 2005C class are going rusty. It's still under warranty. Anybody know if Merc UK have a record of replacing them, or is it just tough luck? Thanks

the Benz dealer i work at covers them

Can't help you with a UK dealer but the MB owned dealer in Canada covered all 20 of mine.

Of course. "Rust" is evidence of failure of the coating. The bolts are passed or failed at the factory for coating quality. Yours have failed after three years and have become a safety concern.
