Default rpm sensor?

Hello, I have a 1994 sl500 the abs and asr lights are on and the car codesthat all four of the rpm sensors are faulting. this just started out of nowhere.

the tech used a LAUNCH X431 and the diagnostic report read:

011 RPM sensor L6/1, L6/2, L6/3, L6/4 Plausability

I doubt that all for went bad at the same time, what can I check as the culprit?

thanks in advance for any help.

Default RE: rpm sensor?

This fault means that there is a plausibility (logic) error between the sensor values.
Could be that just one sensor that has gone bad or is badly coated in rotor dust and reading incorrectly. 4 wouldn't go at the same time unless you have been wading / deep water.
Do you have non standard wheels and tyres? As standard there is a difference front to rear.
Are the tyres the same type (make and pattern) and size left to right?
The system allows for a certain degree of difference between sensors when the vehicle is traveling in a straight line but beyond this threshold it sets a code.
i.e. When travelling straight the left and right wheels should be turning at the same rate. If not something is up!

Tell us a bit more about the car and when the fault occurred.

Speedo OK? ABS OK? EPS OK?

Default RE: rpm sensor?

After some contemplating I realized that it started right after we had the blower motor repaired, I'm guessing something must have been nocked in that area. The ABS and EPS lights are on and neither are working. Speedo works and the tires are original sizes.

Thank you
