Can someone help me with my 300TE? My car used to blow smoke and didnt start very well on the first start of the morning.My car has just had the stem seals done.When I first drive in the morning, the car still doesn't want to start in second gear, instead dropping down to first gear and revving up to about 5000 revs before lurching into second gear. It's very strange now that I'm having to ride my accelerator during the day of driving so that I can have a smooth trip.

blue smoke- excessive oil consumption
black smoke- excessively rich mixture
white smoke- steam in exhaust, catalyst burning off fuel residue
