Rough Running

Have a 1995 SL 500 that suddenly has little power, rough idle, hard shift - Check engine light.
Any suggestions: Vacuum or Mass Air Flow?

You may try a MAP relocation kit to remedy rough idle. Try disconnecting the EGR backpressure transducer from the vacuum lead and check if it alleviates the problem. Your EGR valve may have rusted or stuck open.
