Get an owners manual look on ebay they normally have them for almost any car. I got one off there for my audi.

Auto reset so long as the Washer bottle is replenished. I assume this is the case.

The washer bottle has a sensor to determine fluid level. If bottle is full you need to access the washer bottle and inspect sensor. It could have backed out of the hole in the tank, wires come off etc. Not sure if it is located beneath the wheelarch (above liner) or is more readily accessible in your model from the engine compartment.

Sure they aren't the sensor wires?

What are the colours of the disconnected wires?

The washer bottle has wires going to the pump and to a sensor.
If the pump works when you clean the screen the disconnected wires must be to the sensor.
If you get low warning of fluid level this is because you have low water level, your sensor has gone bad or the circuit is bad (ie disconnected)
Not sure how else I can help.
