Does anybody know how the seat back cover of the SL500 is removed or an schematic diagram perhaps? One of the clips (at the shoulder level) has broken/came loose and is showing the metal frame of the seat. It's still attached to the other side but afraid to pull/force it as I might break more clips.

It's actually the driver's seat back cover I'm after. This cover seems to be one piece except for a separate piece covering the seat belt/head rest support column. Can you please provide instructions/diagram on how to remove the seat back cover. Thanks.

Yes, Thanks - this is exactly what I need. Question: How do I perform step 2? It looks like I have to remove the cushion (the actual seat) to get at the screw? This is the part that broke off from my seat. Maraming salamat sa uulitin!!

 

I just experienced the same problem on my 1998 SL500. Sleepwalker or anyone else who can help, please re-post the diagrams. I can't see them and need a fix ASAP. Thanks!
