Help, the car seat is possessed. The driver seat moves forward when you push the button forward, then it moves forward when you push the button back. The only way to get it to move back once you move it forward is to use the seat memory. Also, the thigh adjust does the same thing. It only goes up. If you push down, it still goes up, but again, if I use the memory, it will go back down to the memory position. I would love to fix this but don't know where to start. Any help would be much appreciated.

 

The seat memory has been lost in the motor. run your seat all the way forward and it will then relearn itself. I've seen this a few times. If you have to use the memory button to get it to go where you want it after that you may need a switch. Do the same for up down.

 

MOVE THE SWITCH RAPIDLY IN BOTH POSITIONS UNTIL IT STARTS WORKING LIKE NORMAL. THE CONTACTS COMMONLY GET STALE AND THIS WILL AID IN CORRECTING PROBLEM LIKE 80 PERCENT OF THE TIME.
