I've got in issue with my trunk lock - it is locked / latched and I cannot access my trunk / boot. The FOB / remote locks have never worked but did not bother - it is a convertible so I never lock it anyways, but now my trunk is locked and cannot open it. The lock 'feels' normal, it turns to the 2 oclock and 10 oclock position, and yes even opens the power windows when held in the 10 oclock (never understood the reason for that feature). I have pressed down on the lid, turned the key every way I can. How does the inside latch mechanism operate and how can I circumvent the system?
