Default Performance leads?

Are performace ignition leads worth it? Do they actually make a difference at all?

Ive always wondered. Also what brand have you used if you have put any after market brands like Magnecor?

I was thinking about upgrading mine as im doing a huge service on my car, all the oil changed including the gearbox etc.

I have a 1990 Mercedes 500 se with 61k miles. I believe they have copper leads, would Magnecor leads or ones similar do any could for the vehicle.

Anyone know of anyone who does do leads? Or would say changing the coil's be better?

What do you helpful souls think?

Default RE: Performance leads?

Basically ignition leads aids for lower emissions and better engine performance. It can help protect engines and catalytic converters in general. Silicone-power leads and Silicone-copper leads are the types. The former are for vehicles factory fitted with resistance cables and the latter are for those fitted with copper-core leads.
