I have a 1985 MB 300D that i picked up for short money, the car is in awesome shape except for the motor. Some one thought it would be funny to put a few holes into it with a rifle. So i am swaping out the motor with annother one i found same year and everything, but it didnt come with the oil cooler. In the process of taking mine out i notices that the threads on the top of the oil cooler striped off. I called MB and they wanted more than i paid for the new motor. Is there a thread rebuild kit or a place i can get a more reasonable oil cooler?
