Have an 01 E320 and am doing the first out of warranty oil change on it myself. Is there any way to reset the maintenance reminder without some sort of tool, and if I need a tool does anyone know where to get it. Thanks.

 

Search the forums and you will find lots of posts on this. Here is the text from one of them:

"make sure your door is closed.. put the key in the ignition and turn from position 0 (zero) to position 2.. press the (0) button (under the plus and minus on the cluster) 2 times and let go, switch the key to the 0 position, press and hold the 0 button within 5 seconds of performing the whole deal and switch ignition back to position 2 and hold (0) until the FSS resets.. should be 10-15 seconds."
