Well about a month ago my mom was in a accident in her 97' C230, nothing major-airblags deployed and she got scared, she wasn't hurt, thank god. Now we have one of two options
1. Sell as is and leave it up to new owner to fix it.
2. Fix damages, than sell it.
Were not going to fix and keep because my dad bought her a 2004 C230, so we just want this thing gone.We haven't really gotten a real estimate as to what it will cost to fix. But the motor runs good- has less than 80k miles with the oil changed regularly, leather interior, automatic transmission. My question to you guys is, what should we do? We dont want to auction it off due to realization that we might just get $1500 or so. How much do you think a car in this condition is worth As Is, or should we fix it, than try to sell it for a little bit more. Its salvaged title now. I talked to my dad about how much he wants to get out of it, he said as is he wants to get like $5000,I dont know much about these cars sincethis isn't my prefered model car, butI think that price is a bit on the high side. A friend of mine said he'd like to buy it and fix it himself since hes a bodyreapair guy, so how much would you pay for something like this, that is the main question.Id appreciate your help and feedback guys. Onto The Pics.

Suggest you ask a local garage to give an estimate and look up what sort of price this age of vehicle makes in your locality.
My (Wild) guess 40000USD to repair.
All depends on where the parts come from and what sort of shop does the repair.
Age most probably makes this not worth repairing unless you can do it yourself as a low cost project. Doesn't appear to be any structural damage so its all bolt on parts and a bit of paint BUT MB parts are MEGA expensive unless you get them from another wreck etc.
