Need Audio system CD-R advice
Hi,
I am driving a C class with A20 audio system. the CD changers was jam since the first day I got the car. The whole system is replaced.
The service center told me that the warranty is void because they found one of the disc in the changer is a CD-R. However, the A20 manual has stated clearly that CD-R or CD-RW are supported by the system. i was confuse which is correct?
The system is now replace but I am not sure if I can still use CD-R with MP3 format on the system.
Any one has similar experience or can give me any advise?

That is a ****ty dealer. Cd-r will work fine as long as the the cd thickness is standard and not oversized. They will usually only void warranty if there is a sticker/decal coming off and causing damage. I am not sure of the mp3 compatibility though

Thanks
Hi,
Thank you very mcuh for your message. Iam going to try my CD-R again. I am not convince that the problem is due to CD-R. The fault is most likely due to other reason.
Well, I will make sure that the CD-R that I going to use meeting the 1.3mm specification.
