hello everybody, not too long ago someone tryed to break into my car thru the passanger side door, they busted the glass and damaged the door frame, i took it to the shop to get fixed, i got the car back , but whenever i lock the car with the key, in a few seconds the hazard lights go on, then the alarm goes off as if i hit the panic button, the heated seat light on the same door stays on for a little while after been locked, now i have to lock the car manually, does anyone have any suggestions? also my battery had died and the car was jumpstarted is a 2001 s500 please help.

Mmm!
Not much to go on.
IF it all happened exactly the same time as the door strip I suspect that the connection to the seat switch module is bad. Do all other functions on the door switch work OK?
Does the interior light work with the doors correctly?
Is the door switch adjustment (Note: not adjustable) OK?
With this sort of problem you can't fix at a distance without more data.
Suggest you get to the dealer and get them to run a SDS Star Diagnostics Quick Check. This will provide fault codes that will give us something to go at. This diagnostics check requires specialist equipment. it is similar too scanning the engine for codes but cannot be done with simple scanners.
Changing parts can be very expensive unless you just happen to be lucky.
