I have a 98 E300D that needs an priest!

Here is a strange one to me.. Im in Florida so we have been using our AC since january!!

yesterday I was running it the AC like I normally do. Stopped at the store for about 5 min. Came back out started the car and turned on the AC.

A few minutes later I noticed the sensation of heat on my left arm. I checked the vent on the left of the steering wheel and it was HOT. The central 2 vents right over the radio were blowing ICE COLD..

I played with the selections, turned it on and off and nothing changed..

I got on the highway to get home and tested it again. I turned on the AC again, ICE cold in the center and about 150 degrees coming out of the left vent.

What happened??

Dont tell me I have to pull the dash!! HAHA

I would start with a duo valve. They are a common problem with the 210 chassis. It controls the coolant to the heater block. It is easy to replace and is under the hood towards the fire wall.
