All goes well till I need to enter the pass code into the phone to finish the pairing. I just have no idea what the pass code is, is there a default one or should it be displayed anywhere.

Hey.

1st make sure the phone your using is compatible with the blue-tooth kit, & 2nd. The pairing code should be in the manual of the blue-tooth kit, so read carefully.
