I have a 1979 W123 MB200 that uses a Stromberg 175 CD carb. The car is RH drive, UK spec.

I am not sure of the model, but I do know MB started using mechanical FI back in the late 50's. The famous 300SL and the Gullwing both had mechanical FI

yeah the 300SL, the race car derived vehicles. Top of the line and highly sought after collectible if you have the money. Those cars had just about every technical showing that MB had to offer back then.
