I'm not sure what is wrong wit my ignition. The remote on my key works to open and close all the doors but was not working when put in the ignition. The car does not recognise the key. I called AA and they have checked the battery and removed and put back all the fuses. Now the key remote does not work anymore nor is the car still recognising the key. What is wrong? Will a spare key work? Before using it do i have to initialize it first? I cannot wait for the weekend the pass for merc to fix it because i am on holiday
