New member and just bought my first MB yesterday. It's a 2002 SLK32 and is a great car, I hve found one problem that i hope someone can help with. the passenger door does not lock or unlock with the internal switch or the remote. The trunk will unlock but will not lock except with the key. I would think actuators but not sure with the trunk issue. Thanks and I look forward to joining in on forum discussions.

 

when locking or unlockin can hear air hisin sound if u can then u ve got a leak on the lock unit or air vaccum pipe..

 

That's a new one to me. I don't hear a hissing noise except when I first turn the ignition on, it;s coming from behind the passenger seat in the quarter panel. That may help explain why the trunk will now occasionally lock but will always unlock. The passenger door doesn't do anything so there may be something wrong ith it. The gas door always works but it takes about 5 seconds for it to lock
