Ipod in C160
Hello,
I let my dealer buildin the IPod interface in my C160, but the phone buttons won't work. These are important for showing the menu's. I don't have a
phone connection in the C160. Is there anyone how know's to solve this. My Mercedes dealer not yet!

does your IPOD got CAN (controller's area network) on it?
does it use D2B? (digital fibre optic).
does it have interface?
does it have MOST? (media oriented)
if not, then it can't.

Thanks for your response. Sorry, but I am not a technical person and the IPod interface is build in by a Mercedes dealer. So I presume that all this stuff is there. The IPod interface is a standard Mercedes accesoire.

in that case, you got MOST, but some of them got no interface installed.
need more dteails about the installation or parts they installed (part numbers will do).

DonRon, if you have a facelifted (2005+) C-class - with MOST - and the dealer installed the integrating iPod kit for you... they obviously forgot to activate the phone menu in your instrument cluster. This is needed to enable control over the iPod through the steering wheel buttons.
