instrument cluster
Had warranty replacement of instrument cluster performed. (Getting BAS, ESP alerts) On its return to me, the personal settings had to be reset, no big deal, the analog speedometer is 13 mph slower than the digital, the "range" feature on the dash computer is gone, the search frequency vs preset selection is gone, the clock cannot be reset to 12 hour mode, and the airmatic does not hold its position from start to start. (Settles)
I am prepareing to return to the dealer and am looking to inform myself.
Thank you very much for your help in advance.

RE: instrument cluster
you need to perform coding after replacing the cluster.
take it to the dealer and let them do it.
remember to bring the old cluster since they will read the old coding and transfer it to the new one.

RE: instrument cluster
Did not request replaced parts to be returned. I can only assume that the original coding is available to the dealership.
In a conversation with a player at the local dealership at my sons grad, i asked him about this problem. He said that the cluster has been "upgraded" that the fuel available in tank feature has been deleted as well as potentially the "easy in" (seat only) feature on some models. He will need to test if the easy in is gone from the 430.
