this is my first time that i writing in mercedes forum, ihope some one can help me Plz....
I have Sprinter car, year 2001 some one try to steal this car and has damage the car, the thief have been damage my Immobilizer, so what i did, i order new Immobilizer from the company (WSP) and i did also F-Dock to the new key but it's doesn't work, and i know the problem, the problem is that i need to reset the ECU (the computer engine) to the empty setting, what i mean is that when the first that we learn the adaptation for the old Immobilizer so he is lock his self,my question is if any body know if i can restore or erase the ECU,and make the new adaptation on him again that it will work with the new immobelaezer.
i can order a new ECU and the new ECU is coming empty and i can make the adaptation to him but the problem is that they want 3000$ for that part.
Plz if is can any body help me???

your problem was that the immobilizer control module parameter settings doesn't work?

did you order the part number: 031 545 58 32 or 31 545 59 32? these are the new numbers.

do you have a star diagnosis?
just set the parameters for immobilizer control module.

by the way there is no way to erase my ecu and make new adaptation...?

 

you mean to say... fuel (ignition), sensitivity value, and enrichment?

not really necessary, not unless you feel that it is running too rich or lean.

try disconnecting and reconnecting the control unit for the engine.

using HHT or Star Diagnosis is the best way.
