Default I got problems! any help would be awsome!

hi my name is kody and have just purchased a 95 c280. its a very nice care but regrettably Im already have many problems with it . wanted to pic some of your brains to see if anyone may know. so i have a 1995 c280 with under 85k and as of right now every time i start the car it runs for about 6-10 seconds and starts to sputters and dies. every time no exceptions. but if i feather the gas right when it trys to die it will push threw and keeps running. i need to do that every time to drive the car and after i do it it will run perfect tell i need to start it agean. also notacing 80% of the time there is a clicking sounds comming from the left of my stearing wheel and clicks like its a fast blinker for about 8 seconds and have even notes when i start the car some times the sputtering starts right when the clicking starts. anyhow any help or thots would be grate. i perchest it for a safe family car for my new baby girl and nothing but problems so far. hoping to find someone knowledgeable to pick there brain. thanks for your time!

Check all of your fuses and relays, normally they create a clicking sound.

Also test your throttle position sensor, chances are it is the reason why you car dies when first starting.

Just read about TPS, Throttle Position Sensor, may want to have that checked.
