Hello!! I'm new to this form.

I really need help to get s/part for my Vito V230, year made 1998, 7 seater mpv. I'm from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

My mechanic told me that the power steering rack repair kit is needed, nothing wrong with the main rack, but only the left hand side rubber thing is leaking. It feel not smooth when driving especially on the highway. And now when I'm driving a smoke (like ciggarate smoke) sipping out from the streering wheel, I'm afraid it will become big and start a big fire and burn the whole car.

My mechanic can't get the part locally, not for this model of M/Benz.
Really need your help, since I've failed to find supply for it in Malaysia nor Singapore.

Where can I get this REPAIR KIT for the rack?
Can somebody recommend where should i goto / contact?

yes, i need to get 1 set of the rubber boot for the PS rack, rubber for both left and right side wheels.
how do i get the part number?
where can i order this parts? any contact no. or website to goto?

 

if there is a leak, you don't only need the boot because it is only for protection against water and dirt.

what you need might be a teflon ring for the piston on the rack.

yes can u help me get the part number. i think i should replace the parts on bothside (left and right wheels) but not the PS rack which is still in good condition.
leaking is on the left wheel, i think now it's empty inside the broken rubber.... that is why it's turning hot and burning that cos smoke sipping tru the streering wheel.

lei shing hong belongs to datuk lao. he is malaysian.

inquire from that company for they must have stock on hand.
