Hardtop will not retract

Default Hardtop will not retract
Hi, I recently purchased a 1998 Mercedes SLK230, the roof will no loger go down. The trunks opens, I can hear the lock in the middle of the roof unlock, but nothing else happens. Can someone please advise. Thanks

most likely a switch fault... take it to the dealer to be diagnosed.

if the trunk is openning it cant be a fuse, the pump is operating properly. the control module is not seeing the trunk all the way up or not seeing the lock release, thus not operating the top.
