Gauge needle temperature shaking
I everyone.
Someone can give me a clue of what is happening in my E 300 TD '98?
A few weeks ago my wife runs out of fuel. It was hard to start the engine, and we used another battery car linked to my battery. Because sometimes the start engine (I think) doesn't had enough Volts sometimes the needles of the water temperature, fuel start jumped.
The problem is that the needle of the water temperature when I put the key in position 2, starts shaking and if I start the engine, only 5 seconds later the tachometer, the fuel indicator and the water temperature jumps to the normal position.
When I shutdown the engine the water temperature gauge goes to the 40ยบ deg line (it's the normal position when engine is off) but shakes a few seconds.
Is this some energy "trapped"?
Sorry for my english.
Good driving
