Im having a problem with my fuel gauge, I have an 88 190E 2.3. I was low on gas so the light came on for low fuel. I filled the tank up and the light went out but now the needle doesnt want to go up. How can I fix this??? Anything would be appreciated

 

check the fuel level sensor.

the contact must be worn out.

 

fuel level sensor? How do i find the sensor and how do u check it??
