Exclamation Emergency - Please help

HELP

Car is stranded out of town.

The problem began when I reset the computer by disconnecting the negative trunk cable - but for some reason it blew a fuse in the trunk and our blade key was on the other keyring....

....so I couldn't get into the trunk.

We tried to do a reset by running the battery dead overnight (lights left on) then recharging from the access posts in the engine compartment.

I think the problem started when I used the master cylinder as the ground for the battery charger......

Now my ABS/ASR light (BAS/ASB) warning light is on, and the car will not allow throttle control.

HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP - I can't get the light to reset, and the car is stranded - trunk open now (fedex'd the blade key) but I am screwed if I made a messup by using the brake cylinder as a ground

Anyone? Please?

Car runs fine
Car starts fine
Voltage at underhood junction point is 13.2
Heater, AC, defrost OK
Windows inoperative
Door locking system inoperative
Sunroof inoperative
Remote control door locking/trunk inoperative

I need HELP

1. How to access trunk if necessary to effect repairs

2. What the hell just happened? Main control computer? (I'm a parts broker so it won't kill me to replace one......or two "black boxes")

The abs' bas ligth is because you unhooked the battery. Turn the wheel lock to lock and it should go out. You may have lost the throtle stop. Turn the key on and let it set for a minute. try this first. What type of Merc. is it?
