I have a real mess. first I installed an after-market automatic antenna. It didn't work. So I took my radio out and found a blown fuse. It still didn't work. Then, while driving I fried my battery. I had the alternator replaced. The fun really started then. Every time I turn the switch on the wipers start, the headlights wont work, and I don't have turn signals. Does anyone have any idea of what I might have done to my poor car? Thanks Del

Oh dear!
How did you install it (electrically).
How did you fry the battery?
Why did you have the alternator changed?
Turn which switch on?
Have you removed the aerial? have you checked all your fuses with a multimeter?
What Model and year are we talking?

Hi,
Can't help any further without better symptoms.
If all this started with the aerila installation. I suggested removing the aerial again (at least electrically).
OK you blow a fuse, replace it with correct value.
No reason why battery and alternator are in any way linked. Most likely cause jump starting.
If you have replaced alternator and battery what is the problem now other than you want to connect the aerial?
If so I need to know type, connections, what you did etc so that I can spot the problem.
I'd love to help BUT the symptoms are not descriptive enough to provide any guidance.
I don't doubt what happened, just that something important is likely missing or alternatively you were just "unlucky" and need to start the installation over again and hope this time that you don't get a repeat problem.
